Case study: 400 person scavenger hunt

The BRIEF: As part of DOJO’s annual ‘Creators Summit’ Big Smoke Events was asked to create a special team bonding experience for 400 employees. The objective was to celebrate the team and get everyone together for something unique. Many of the group had just recently joined the company or had been working remotely and as yet, not had the opportunity to meet their colleagues in person.

The SOLUTION: Working closely with DOJO to create a personalised experience for all the summit attendees, we developed a 40 team Scavenger Hunt which was snuggly integrated into their conference program. All 400 people were successfully organised into their teams during the briefing - and the competition began! We created 24 bespoke challenges for the DOJO group - celebrating their company values, in and around the East London area. The teams had 90 minutes to solve these clues - and submit their photos and videos. One of the teams even came across a celebrity - finding Jimmy Carr along the way!

A 5 minute video montage of the Scavenger Hunt highlights was created to show the teams when they returned back (which can be viewed below). This showcased all the teams having fun, solving clues, and getting out of the office environment (and those inevitable work silos).

The RESULT: Our client was very pleased with the result - and everyone had a great time! The co-operation between Big Smoke and DOJO helped make their Scavenger Hunt a huge success with many new friendships forged (and special memories made) on the day.
