TABLE TENNIS ENGLAND COMPETE IN PING PONG FIGHT CLUB'S ONLINE CHALLENGE SHOW!

Did you know that table tennis is the most popular indoor sport in the world, played by over 300 million people? It's fun, healthy, social and is enjoyed from the very first ball hit! And now The Big Smoke Events and Ping Pong Fight Club have joined forces to bring together a new online, global ping pong audience! 

Ping Pong Fight Club’s Online Challenge Show’ is a weekly 45 minute game show featuring  hilarious ping pong challenges, trivia and tongue-in-cheek game show banter - an opportunity to connect, compete and have fun with friends, family and work colleagues - all from the comfort of your home.

And who better to road test the new show than Table Tennis England, the sport’s national governing body whose primary responsibility is to represent, develop and encourage mass participation in all forms of the sport in the UK, including our elite table tennis athletes. So, we invited their team to participate and give us their opinion. No pressure then!

The contestants took part in five 60-second ping pong challenge rounds including some carefully selected trivia questions, designed to trip up some of the table tennis eggheads.  The TTE  teams showcased some serious speed and accuracy and no shortage of passion as they were put to the test, some challenges requiring a variety of implements and tools from the kitchen and spinning 360 degrees after each return! We even threw in a random off-the-bat challenge where teams had to run and find anything to bounce a ball on in a keepy-uppy competition. 

Our contestants brilliantly shone in all categories and also showed significant knowledge in answering our ping pong trivia questions.
