THE BEST ACTIVITY TO DO IN TEAMS OF SIX PEOPLE!
Just as we were getting comfortable in our old social-sphere Boris Johnson popped the bubble once again, introducing a whole new set of coronavirus restrictions following a spike in infections. As of Monday 14th of September the “rule of six” will ban all social gatherings of more than six people. Although pubs and restaurants, as well as beauty salons and cinemas will remain open, the rule of six will still apply to barbecues, hen parties, birthday parties, engagement dos and similar gatherings. This could potentially come in-between you and the flamboyant party you had envisioned, but fear not - we have a fun alternative that could save you from getting fined and still give you a memorable day!
Since we launched our Remote Scavenger Hunt at the end of lockdown, we’ve seen a trend in people using it as an outdoor event to celebrate birthdays, hen-do’s and bond with friends. The fact that it isn’t location based makes it ideal for groups that live far from each other but still want to do something together! Thanks to the magic of the internet, remote teams of 6 will be able to compete against each other and create bonding memories. Our Remote Hunt can also be played either indoors or outdoors - with this gorgeous weather we would recommend making the most of your surroundings but if it doesn’t appeal to you, we can make it home friendly too.
Scavenger Hunts are a great gift as they can be tailored to a specific person, including lots of curious, fun and quirky challenges that will make him/her feel special! Activities that can be done in small groups are without doubt an excellent alternative to the usual pub or restaurant rendez vous as they foster communication and teamwork thanks to creative content creating challenges that will induce some hysterical laughter!
Although our current situation is uncertain and there is no set day as to when things will go back to normal, we shouldn’t let it be the reason why we’re giving up on celebrating a milestone or getting outside. Social interaction is key to our mental wellbeing and finding activities that foster positive synergy in a safe, relaxed environment is possible even in a pandemic.
